In the course of the European elections I noticed it more and more again: The European flag is constantly being used upside down.
What sounds like a joke at first is not. Town halls, websites and newspapers use the flag in the wrong orientation. Anyone who has seen it once will notice it constantly and everywhere.

Yesterday a task led me to find out the exact colour codes for the European flag. I found surprisingly little about it on the Internet.
