Sell pictures and photos online – which platforms are worth it?
For years I have been photographing with heart and soul, but at best I show the photos in our travel blogs. Why not search through my own photo archive and offer pictures for sale on various online portals? The registration is free of charge and with a little luck we generate some income. Definitely better than to let the pictures "rot" isolated on the network storage.

My equipment and basic settings for wedding photography in churches
Of course, there is no magic formula for setting the camera, no matter what kind of photos you want to take. Neither is there any ultimate equipment for such jobs. This is also the case with the photography of weddings in churches. Motives and light conditions vary from shooting to shooting. Nevertheless, I usually move with my equipment in a certain setting range, or try to approach the location, motives and light from a certain value. In 2017 I presented the workflow for scanning photos, slides and negatives with the then top dog Canon CanoScan 9000F Mark II in a video. With the same scanner I digitized about 3000 old pictures and negatives. Meanwhile, the popular scanner is no longer available and some people wonder what alternatives there are now. A low budget setup for high key and low key photography in a hobby studio
In this article I write about which lights and which arrangement of lights I use for high key or low key photography in my home studio. Besides the construction I also give an overview about the technique I use as an ambitious hobby photographer. Here I report, how I equipped my home "photo studio" for hobby purposes for about 350€.
