If Google still shows old data of our website in the search results and we want to update it, we can ask Google for re-indexing.

  1. Log in to the ‘ Google Search Console ‘.
  2. If you haven’t already done so, add your website to the ‘ Google Search Console ‘ and verify the site using the methods available.
  3. At the top of the page, you’ll find an input mask for checking individual URLs. In the search bar, enter your website URL or the URL to the page you want to re-index.
  4. After checking, an option to request indexing is displayed. Click it and Google will add your site to the crawling queue.
Step 3: Enter URL in input mask
Step 4: Apply for indexing
