HDR Settings for Nikon D7500 on Usersettings „U1“ and „U2“

In this blog entry I’ll show you how to set up the Nikon D7500 so that you can create an exposure series for HDR photography. I will devide this tutorial in two sections: One for easily and fast shooting of HDR images free hand, another professional setting for shooting HDR images from a tripod mounted camera. We store all HDR-specific settings for each method in a separate usersetting bank „U1“ or „U2“ to recall all the settings easily and fast. So we will be able to switch between normal workflow and HDR workflow very quickly.

Lightroom and Photoshop replaced by alternatives – Luminar 3, Affinity Photo and Aurora 2019 do their job

It's done. Today, I can say that I have replaced Lightroom and Photoshop with alternatives that are equal, if not better, but definitely cheaper.

In my search for alternative programs, I thought I was on the right track, was disappointed, was thrilled and finally completed this project successfully.
In this article I write about why I have decided for which image processing software in the individual processes.

Nikon D500 after firmware update 1.20 with fully functional WiFi

Nikon has released the firmware update of version 1.20.

After installing the update on my camera, I couldn't believe my eyes.
Apparently Nikon finally gave the D500 the long-awaited open Wi-Fi, with which now also connections to other devices than only the SnapBridge app are possible.

At "Clutch": chicken fillet strips in a lime parmesan casing and baked chicken legs in soya garlic sauce

City trip without the tourists, always looking for taste: London.

London has a huge amount of culture and history to offer. In addition there are wax figures, Ferris wheels and palaces. Let's forget all this and concentrate on the really important things like restaurants, bars and streetfood markets. In between we visit some sights that are mostly not part of any bus or guided tours - a real quality feature. For five days we explore the known and the new, discover the hidden, eat and drink our way through the capital and take pictures.

Did you know that the European hornet likes to gnaw on lilac bushes in very warm summers, when it is nearing the end of its life in September? The hornets nibble on the branches, lilac juice comes out and this then serves as an energy drink for the large insects. I hate wasps, and was initially very worried about walking along the lilac bush at a distance of only 30cm on my morning walk to the garage. But these thick hummers are so peaceful and clumsy that they simply do nothing to you, even if they fly accidentally against your head. Great side effect: Since the hornets have moved in with us, there are hardly any wasps in our garden. #hornet #hornisse #insectphotography #lilac #europeanhornet #macro #macrophotography #nikonz6ii #sigma105macro
