Last week my Nikon Z6II froze twice in one shot during a video shoot. Switching it off and on again didn't help either, the camera stayed on. I noticed that only the audio level display was still updating sporadically. Only by removing the battery was I able to reset the camera.
With the January update of Nikon's "NX Field" app, the Z6, Z6II, Z7, Z7II cameras can now be natively controlled remotely with NX Field. Image and FTP transfer is also now available. Finally no need to use third party software like "controlmycamera" or others. Thank you Nikon!
Does the L-angle "Ellie (PD)" also fit the Nikon Z6, Z7, Z6II or Z7II? After all, there is a Z variant of its own with the Zelda bracket. If you are looking for a Peak Design Capture Clip compatible solution, you will find it with the "Ellie PD" bracket.
Those who use the FTZ adapter on the Nikon Z may have difficulties using the camera in the usual carrying systems and tripods. If you still want to quickly attach the camera somewhere when alternately using the FTZ adapter and Z lenses, these tricks provide a way to mount the adapter plate on the camera.
